Superamphiphobic Anti-Fogging Nanocoating
Product Description
A super-hydrophilic anti-fog nanocoating is a specialized functional coating applied to the surface of transparent substrates (such as glass, plastic lenses, and goggles). Its core function is to impart super-hydrophilic properties to the surface, effectively preventing water vapor from condensing into small droplets (i.e., fogging), thereby maintaining the substrate's clarity and transparency.

Product Features
High adhesion to substrates and ultra-low hydrophilicity angle;
Good durability (boiling water, sandblasting, freeze-thaw cycles, etc.);
Long-term weather resistance.

Scope of application
Everyday Life: Eyeglasses, swimming goggles, ski goggles, helmet visors, bathroom mirrors, car rearview mirrors and interior windows (anti-condensation).
Medical Field: Endoscopes, microscope eyepieces and objectives, surgical lights, face masks, medical observation windows.
Transportation: Aircraft windows, high-speed train windows, ship windows.
Agriculture and Greenhouses: Plastic film or glass for greenhouses to prevent condensation from affecting light transmission and dripping to prevent damage to plants.
Optical Instruments: Camera lenses, telescopes, protective windows for various sensors.
Energy Field: Solar panel cover glass (anti-fog and dust, improves power generation efficiency).
Industrial Field: Observation windows for food processing equipment, glass for refrigerated display cases.

Anti-fog properties

At 50℃ saturated steam pressure and a distance of 5 cm, fumigation for 3 seconds does not produce fogging, and the film layer is clear.

At 50-60℃ saturated steam pressure and a distance of 5 cm, fumigation for 3 seconds does not produce fogging, and the film layer is transparent.

After fumigating at 50℃, wipe clean and fumigate again. Repeat this process 100 times without diminishing the anti-fogging effect.

Water resistance

Soaking in 25℃ water for 2 hours maintains the anti-fog effect, and the film layer remains clear.

Soaking in 25℃ water for 2 hours maintains the anti-fog effect, and the film layer remains clear.

Water contact angle

Initially ~6°, after a few seconds ~2°

Resistant to boiling

It still has an anti-fog effect at 100℃ for 30 minutes.

It still has an anti-fog effect at ~90℃ for 45 minutes

Abrasion resistant

500 times (using a wet cloth and a 50g weight)

After 500 cycles (using a wet cloth and a 50g weight), the anti-fog performance decreased slightly.

Precautions: The double-layer method uses hydrophilic polymers. After steam fumigation, soaking in water, boiling in hot water, and repeated rubbing with a damp cloth, the surface needs to be dried at room temperature for 10-20 seconds before the water on the surface can be wiped dry with a dry cloth to continue testing the anti-fog performance!
