PT-20 participates in the preparation of water-based metal working fluids as an alkaline component. It is easy to emulsify and has good antibacterial properties.
When used in total synthesis, it can significantly reduce the precipitation of heavy metals such as cobalt and copper.
PT-20 can replace Clariant Genamin CH 020.
