It is well known that oil contaminants and suspended solids, including metal particles, not only cause problems themselves, but also promote the growth of microorganisms.


It has a unique chemical structure and cationic properties that can unbalance the charge around the emulsified oil particles, achieving the effect of a demulsifier. Therefore, 

floating oil is easier to filter out. Similarly, the polymer properties of PT-77 can flocculate and settle suspended matter, especially helping to more effectively remove metal particles. 

Removing floating oil and suspended solids can not only improve microbial problems, but also ensure that metalworking fluids remain clean during processing and extend their storage life.


Microbial growth in metalworking systems can cause various problems, including odor, degradation of fluid components, and formation of microbial films that pollute the system.

PT-77 can help solve these problems and is environmentally friendly, without the toxicity issues that other fungicides involve.

PT-77 has an inhibitory and killing effect on a wide range of microorganisms over a wide range of pH values, and is completely soluble in water.

Scope of application:

PT-77 is suitable for fully synthetic metalworking fluids, diluted metalworking fluids and oil-based processing fluids emulsified with non-ionic surfactants.

Not suitable for oily processing fluids or those containing anionic surfactants.


Usage recommendations:

When added as a fungicide, the fungicide dosage in the diluent should be tested regularly to ensure that reasonable indicators of microbial control are achieved.
